Introduction to Sanitary Ware in Your School

It is important to make sure that your school is equipped with clean, functioning sanitary ware. The majority of schools these days have to accept more children every year. If you have had an influx of students, it may have caused strain on your current sanitary ware within your school, in which case you need to come up with a more effective way to manage it.

The first piece of sanitary equipment that you need to look into for your school is a septic tank. A septic tank is a fantastic way in which to take care of the waste that is accumulated throughout the day. Septic tanks are designed to store a vast amount of waste. This waste can then be taken and processed so that it can become reusable water. Most septic tanks can hold their waste for up to five years, thus providing you with the chance not only to manage your waste, but to also give back to your environment. Septic tanks are especially useful for schools that are situated in rural areas. If your school is located in a rural area, you may not have access to a main sewage line. A septic tank will help you to combat this problem and to keep your school clean.

When it comes to sanitary equipment in your school, you need to make sure that it is age appropriate. As a child grows, the sanitary ware needs to grow with them. You will need to have different sanitary ware options for the different age groups in your schools. The main difference with the sanitary ware in the nursery section compared to the high school section is obviously the size and accessibility. With regard to toilets, nursery school sanitary equipment needs to be of a smaller size. You can purchase toilets that have been specifically designed with a lower floor to pan height for smaller children. If you are not in a financial position to provide different size toilets throughout your school, you will need to supply "step up" stools for the nursery bathrooms so that the children can reach the toilet with ease. It is also important to have taps and sinks that are easily accessible. For the younger children, this will mean placing the sinks lower down and potentially having extended handles in order for them to turn on the tap easily.
