Fence Around Your Customers

You've spent a boatload of money getting customers and clients...

You've spent a lot of time networking, speaking, creating Joint Venture partnerships... all to get new business and it's paid off!

So now you've gotten your customers, how do you make sure you keep them?

Did you know that you spend 3x more money getting new clients, than keeping them!

It's so important to protect your clients from your competitors who would like to steal them at every chance they get.

As one of my mentors, Dan Kennedy, says: "Build a fence around your customers!"

What's a small business owner to do? I mentioned this in my book that I am one of the co-authors of, Conscious Entrepreneurs: A Radical New Approach to Purpose, Passion and Profit, that came out in July 2008.

I'll share a little secret with you. The very best and the quickest thing you can do to keep your customers and clients is to "Create your own personalised customer experience."

No matter what business you are in, start consciously recognizing what your clients WANT and aim to satisfy them. Keep them happy. Treat them like royalty. Keep in touch with them as often as 12-52 times per year. Yep, that's once per month to once per week.
