Remove Razor Bumps on Bikini Line

Shaving is an affordable and quick way to remove unwanted hairs from the bikini line area. However, if hairs curl and grow back into your skin, you may end up with unsightly, painful red bumps, also referred to as razor bumps. Proper shaving techniques and using a razor with a sharp blade helps prevent razor bumps. However, if you already have razor bumps, treating them with natural methods can help you get rid of them.

Take a warm shower or bath to soften the skin and hairs on your pubic area. Dry yourself off with a clean towel.

Hold a needle or a pair of tweezers under a flame to disinfect it. As an alternative, apply rubbing alcohol to a cotton makeup remover pad and wipe it over the needle or tweezers.

Place the needle underneath the trapped hair that's growing back into your skin. Lightly pull upward to release it. As an alternative, pull out the entire hair with your tweezers. Stretch the skin with your non-dominant hand and remove the hair with tweezers, using your dominant hand. Pull the hair out in the direction of the hair growth. Remove all ingrown hairs in the fashion.

Scrub your bikini line area with a washcloth and antibacterial soap to remove any bacteria that may trigger infections. Rinse off the soap with warm water. Dry yourself with a clean towel.

Wet a cotton ball with witch hazel and dab it over your bikini line area. Witch hazel reduces inflammation and promotes healing.

Wear loose-fitting underwear to avoid friction to your bikini line area and worsening the condition
