When sending email to mass recipients in Gmail, there is the risk of exposing your friends' and business associates' email addresses to others. This type of exposure (even if accidental) can damage to your personal and professional relationships. Gmail has a built-in feature called blind carbon copy (or Bcc) to protect the email addresses of your associates.
Log in to your Gmail account and click "Compose Mail" located in the top left of your screen.
Fill out the subject line and body of the email as you normally would.
Add your own email address to the "To:" field of the email.
Click the "Add Bcc" link, which is located beneath the "To:" field. This action will expose a new field in which you add the addresses of the recipients of your message. When you have added everyone to the Bcc field, click "Send."
