Add Twitter Button to Tumblr

Tumblr is a micro-blogging website that allows you to add a Twitter button by copying and pasting the code onto your Tumblr blog. With this feature, you can submit your Tumblr posts to your Twitter feed and further advertise your blog updates to your Twitter followers. It also reduces the time of posting to your blog, then copying the post and manually tweeting it through your Twitter account.
1. Step 1

Launch your Internet browser. Go to twitter.com/goodies. Copy the code for the Twitter button. Click on a code for "Vertical Count," "Horizontal Count," or "No Count." This displays a Twitter count or not if you choose. Select the language or your preference and copy the code.
2. Step 2

Insert the following script after "Vertical," "Horizontal," or "None" and before ">Tweet" :
data-URL="{permalink}" data-text="{Title}"
The original code should look like this:
Tweethttp://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js"></script>
The addition you need to add should look like this:
Tweethttp://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js"></script>
3. Step 3

Log in to your Tumblr account with your username and password.
4. Step 4

Click "Customize," then "Theme," then "Use Custom HTML" from the dashboard.
5. Step 5

Paste the code within the "Text and Photos" posts right before the "{PostNotes}" tag. This will ensure the Twitter button displays most of the time since posting texts and photos is the most widely used and re-blogged feature on Tumblr.
