Close Facebook on Flipboard

Flipboard is social like facebook, customizable magazine app for iPad, iPhone and Android devices. In addition to being able to view and read from various news sources and categories, you can add social network accounts like Facebook and Twitter to "flip" through content from them as well. If you no longer want Facebook or any social network tied to your Flipboard account, you can remove the section from your magazine or choose to fully disconnect the account.

Remove Facebook on Flipboard
Open the Flipboard app and go to the sections page of your Flipboard magazine with the Facebook tile on it.

Press and hold the Facebook tile until a small X appears on the top left, then tap the X.

At this point, Flipboard will remove Facebook as a section of your magazine and immediately asks if you want to remove the service entirely. Tap "Yes" to completely disconnect your Facebook account from your Flipboard. Tap "No" if you want to stay logged in to Facebook and simply just want the section of the magazine deleted.
