Disable People From Commenting

When you allow comments on your Facebook posts, friends can give feedback or add information to what you have created. If you only want to send out information and would rather not receive comments, the function is easily disabled. If you only have one bad apple of a friend, Facebook allows you to leave commenting enabled for everyone else and stop only her from leaving her remarks beneath the posts on your wall.

Log in to your Facebook account and click the "Account" link at the top of your Facebook screen to expose a drop-down menu. Select "Privacy Settings" from the menu.

Click the "Customize settings" link in the "Sharing on Facebook" section.

Scroll down to the "Things others share" section. Click on the gray icon next to "Permission to comment on your posts" and choose "Friends Only" to disable the commenting feature for all non-friends. To disable commenting for everyone, including your friends, click "Customize" and then select "Only Me" in the "Make this visible to" drop-down menu. Enter a friend's username in the "Hide this From" field to stop only her from commenting. Click "Save Setting."
