Tagging is a feature on Facebook that allows you to link a friend's Facebook profile to something you post on Facebook. You can tag friends in a status or post on another friend's wall to keep the information in a single post, or tag friends who are present in photos or videos so they can see them. Facebook does not offer a way to tag every single Facebook friend you have. Instead, you can tag up to 50 friends in a post, album or photo/video.
Tag Status
Log in your Facebook account, and click "Profile."
Type the status you want to share with the friends you want to tag. If it is a photo, link or video, click "Photo," "Link" or "Video" to attach it.
Type "@," then the first few letters of the name of a friend you want to tag. Click on the friend's name to tag her. Do this for every friend you want to tag.
Click "Share" to post it.
Tag Photos or Videos
Open the photo or video you want to tag friends in. If it is an entire album, simply open the album.
Click "Tag this Photo" or "Tag this Video" at the top of the photo or video. Click "Tag Photos" at the top of the album.
Type "@," then the first few letters of the name of a friend you want to tag. Click on her name to tag her. Do this for every friend you want to tag.
Click "Done Tagging" on the photo or video or "Save Tags" on the album when you are finished.
