Once you open your Facebook page to the public, any Facebook user can like the page and become a fan. Any updates you post on your Facebook page show up on your fans' news feeds. However, fans that have subscribed to other Facebook pages or have lots of friends may not catch all of your page updates. News feeds can get crowded at times making a private message more noticeable. The "Send an Update" feature can message everyone who liked your community page.
Open your Facebook account and go to the "Account" menu on the header. Click "Use Facebook as Page," and choose the community page that has the fans you wish to message.
Click the "Edit Info" link, and go to "Resources." Click the "Send an Update" link to bring up a couple of text boxes.
Enter a subject of your message, and add the message in the text box below. Click the "Send" button to send the message to all of your page's fans.
