Put Your BB Code Facebook

Use a bulletin board or "BB" code on Facebook to convey the same information you would on a bulletin board to your Facebook friends and contacts. It isn't possible to display all items you would in BB code on Facebook -- text formatting isn't possible, for example. You can, however, embed links to URL websites, pictures and videos within a Facebook status, just as you would on a bulletin board using BB code. You can't use the code itself on Facebook -- you can only display the content in a similar way.

Navigate to the BB code you want to use. If the code is embedded in a message you posted on a message board, hit the "Edit" button to access the source code.

Drag your mouse over any URL within the code, such as a link to an image or video you embedded within the bulletin board post. Right-click and select "Copy." Don't highlight or copy any of the BBcode tags.

Sign in to Facebook and right-click within the field at the top of the news feed. Select "Paste" and wait for the webpage, image or video to display beneath the field. Delete the URL text, then type in a message that explains the content if you choose. Click the "Share" button to share the information with your Facebook friends.
