Block Friend's Post on Facebook

The news feed page on Facebook allows us to see all of our friends' recent activity such as pictures from a recent vacation, mood-related quotes in status updates and links to other sites that they find interesting. However, some friends may like to share too much information too often, bombarding your news feed. Rather than remove the friend from your friends list, you can block their posts from the feed without them knowing it. You are also able to remove individual posts from a friend from your profile page.

Locate a recent post made by your friend in the news feed. The news feed is the page where you see all your friends' recent activity.

Place the cursor over the post and look for the "X" that appears to the right of the post.

Click the "X" and select "Hide all by <friend's name>."

Block Posts on Wall
Go to your profile page.

Place the cursor over the post made by your friend.

Click the "X" that appears to the right of the post and select "Remove this post."

Click "Remove Post" to confirm. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each post.
