Upload Music From iTunes to Facebook

Unlike some other social media platforms, Facebook does not have its own music player as of May 2011. With the help of a third-party application, however, it's possible to post information about music you like. If you so desire, you can even share your entire iTunes library with your Facebook friends. While the songs won't automatically play when people view your profile, and you can't actually upload them, you can provide links so people can listen to your favorite music.

Log in to your Facebook profile.

Navigate to the iLike Facebook application page. Click "Go to App" at the top of the page. The app should begin loading on your computer. When you get to a screen that reads "Allow this application to access my basic information," click the "allow" button to continue loading the application.

Select "My Music" from the application page once it has loaded. Under "My Songs iLike," type in the name of a song you want to add to your profile. As long as a song exists in iLike, it should appear as a thumbnail image. Select "iLike" to add the song to your profile.

Scroll down to "iTunes Playlists" in the My Music section of iLike. Click "iTunes" to begin adding one of your iTunes playlists to your Facebook profile, then select the playlists you want to share when your library displays.

From the same "iTunes Playlists" window, you can click "Learn More" to add your entire iTunes library to Facebook.
