If you've got an annoying Facebook friend who is bugging you on the social networking site then you might want to hide from them. The only way to disappear from view, hide your profile and prevent a specific friend or user from contacting you on Facebook is to block her. Blocking the friend will also remove her from your Facebook friends list and hide your profile in search results if she uses the Facebook search tool in an attempt to track you down. You can hide from a friend or user in Facebook with the "Block User" feature in your account privacy settings.
Open your computer's Web browser and log in to Facebook.
Click the "Account" link in the home page navigation menu.
Select "Privacy Settings" from the drop-down menu.
Click "Edit Your Lists" under the "Block Lists" heading at the bottom of the page.
Type the name or email address of the person you want to block in the relevant input fields in the "Block Users" section.
Click the "Block This User" button. You are now hidden from your annoying friend.
