Facebook makes for an easy platform for sharing the photos from your latest vacation or night out with friends. Even better, the social networking site lets you add captions, so you can describe what is going on in each photo. Photo captions are not permanent--editing them is equally as quick as adding a new one and can be done at any time. Be sure to save your new caption before moving on to the next photo.
Navigate to your photo albums by clicking the "Profile" link in the top Facebook toolbar and then "Photos" under your profile picture.
Click on "See All Photos" to reveal all of your photo albums. Click on the album containing the photo or photos you want to apply captions to.
Click on a photo to open its full size version.
Click on the blue "Add a description" link beneath the photo. If a caption already exists, click on the blue pencil to the right of the current text. Enter your caption in the empty field that appears and then click "Save."
