When you open an Internet browser, the first website it loads is its default homepage. You can change this default homepage to any website you wish. Configuring your Internet browser to automatically load your email service provider's homepage when you open the program can be a convenient way to check your email. Whether you use a free email service such as Gmail or an email service from your Internet company, any email service provider offering a web-based email interface can be set as your homepage.
Internet Explorer
Open the Internet Explorer browser by double-clicking the icon. Or, click the "Start" button to navigate through the menu to locate the program.
Type your email service's web page into the address bar and press "Enter."
Click the arrow icon located to the right of the "Home" button. Select "Add or Change Home Page" from the drop-down menu.
Select "Use this webpage as your only home page." Press "Yes" to finish setting your email service as your homepage.
Safari
Open Safari by clicking on its icon.
Enter your email service provider's homepage into the address bar and hit "Return."
Click on "Safari" from the top menu bar and select "Preferences."
Press "Set to Current Page" to change Safari's homepage to your email service provider's homepage.
Click on the "X" in the upper-left corner to save your changes.
Firefox
Launch Firefox by double-clicking the icon or by navigating through the "Start" menu to find the program.
Enter your email service provider's web page in the address bar. Press "Enter."
Select "Tools" from the top menu page and chose "Options" from the drop-down menu.
Chose "Show my homepage" from the drop-down menu box. This might already be selected for you.
Click on the "Use Current Page" button and press "OK" to set your email service as your homepage.
Internet Explorer
