Email forwarding is a convenient way to receive email messages from an account you access infrequently in an account you check regularly. This is especially useful if you have several email accounts you use for different purposes and want all the messages consolidated in a single account. Yahoo! Mail offers the email forwarding service to their premium Yahoo! Mail Plus account holders. Basic Yahoo! Mail users do not have access to the feature.
Log into your Yahoo! Mail account.
Click the "Options" link in the top right of the mail window and select "More Options."
Click the "POP & Forwarding" link in the left window pane.
Click the radio button next to "Forward your Yahoo! Mail."
Enter your forwarding address into the box and click "Save Changes." A verification window will open.
Click the "Send Code" link to have Yahoo! send a verification message to your forwarding address. This is to ensure you are the owner of the forwarding account.
Access your forwarding email account in another browser tab or program and find the verification message.
Enter the code from the verification message into the box on the "Yahoo! Verify Email Address" window and click "Done."
Click "Save Changes" when you see the message that Yahoo! successfully verified the account.
