Setup Separate Folder for eMail on Yahoo

With Yahoo e-mail, you can create your own personal folders to store and organize your incoming and outgoing messages. You can even instruct Yahoo Mail to direct your incoming messages to certain folders for you. It is not difficult to create a folder for your e-mail.

Go to the official Yahoo website and sign in to your account using your ID and password.

Locate the "Folders" label on the left side of your Yahoo e-mail page. If you already have at least one personal folder set up in Yahoo, scroll down until you see the "My Folders" label.

Click the "Add" link, which is next to the folders label.

Type a name for your folder in the window that says "Add Folder: Please enter a name for your folder and click "OK." Your folder name can only include letters, numbers and the space, hyphen and underline characters.

Confirm that your new folder is set up. The new folder will appear under the "My Folders" label. If you have more than one personal folder, the folders will automatically appear in alphabetical order.
