How to Adjust Your Longboard Trucks

Longboard trucks that are too tight can make turning difficult, while trucks that are too loose can make a longboard wobbly and unstable. To get your trucks perfect, you have to adjust them using a wrench and screwdriver. This takes little time and can be done easily. Adjust the trucks to your liking and get back out on the street.

Set your longboard upside down on a flat surface so the wheels are in the air.

Locate the bolts on your longboard's trucks.

Hold the screw on top of the bolt in place with a Phillips head screwdriver.

Use the wrench and turn the bolt to the left to loosen the trucks, or to the right to tighten the trucks.

Flip the board over and take it for a ride to see if the trucks need to be adjusted further.
